About Me

I am Akshaj Mehta and I am 17 years old. I attend Natomas Pacific Pathways Prep High. I serve on the City Of Sacramento's Arts, Culture, And Creative Economy Commission. I started to write when I was 4. I have written 6 books and published 4 of them. All the proceeds of my books are donated various Children's charities in Sacramento.

Since 2015, at the age of 10, I was appointed as Sci-Tech Kids Editor for a children’s online magazine. Besides being a writer I think I am a Social Activist too. I actively take part and have also led various Community Service Projects such as Blanket and Coat drives for shelters for the homeless, Food Drives for the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. Book Drives for Reading Partners and Friends of Library and Park Clean ups.

When I am not studying, writing or helping in community service projects, I enjoy biking and hiking with my family. I also love to play piano and am a Star Wars fan.
