The month of April

The middle of spring

Has many wonders

Where they begin

April Fool’s, Earth day,

And so much more

But my favorite of all

Is Easter, which I adore

Celebrating spring, come find the eggs

All with different patterns and arrays

Then pop open the egg, what do you see

A rewarding treat just for me

The Easter bunny

Bringing us glee

Fun long ears

And a smile that brings cheers

Oh how I love Easter

It is so much fun

Collecting colored eggs

Under the warm, spring sun
